60/40 in 2020.

For too long those of us who are fed up with the incompetence of our nation's politicians, frustrated with a federal bureaucracy gone amok, and incensed with a media establishment that has become a propaganda machine for leftist and progressive ideologies, have had to stand by and watch our nation march steadily toward decline, insolvency and moral bankruptcy.

Leading into the election of 2016, many were feeling a sense of helplessness as it appeared that an uninformed electorate was headed toward putting one of history’s most corrupt individuals to seek public office into the highest position in the land. Championed by an arrogant media establishment and valueless special interests, the Hillary Clinton campaign seemed to be on an unstoppable trajectory. But thankfully, it was not to be.

Some would say that Donald Trump was the instrument God would use to save America from certain and inevitable decline. Others may credit an increasingly energized populace determined to “drain the swamp” and saw in Trump a fighter who could very possibly accomplish it. In any event, many of us took great delight in seeing those we felt were destroying our nation shocked and horrified that their expectations were not to be.

There were many of us, myself included, who were skeptical that Donald Trump would follow through on the promises he was espousing in his rallies and campaign speeches. Many doubted his ability to grasp and negotiate the complex issues challenging our nation’s future. I was hopeful that Trump would be a quick study and would surround himself with talented and knowledgeable individuals. That has happened in part, but there truly is a “deep state” that is determined to challenge and undermine anyone seeking to upset the status quo. This has become more and more evident as we learn of the clandestine efforts of this cabal to depose this President and demonize and discredit any of his supporters. Probably the most culpable element in all of this is a corrupt media establishment. I am frankly amazed at how they continue to circle the wagons even when discredited for their obvious deceptive practices and biases. In fact, they seem determined to double down in hopes that the American people will eventually buy into their “big lies”.

I AM CONVINCED THAT THE ONLY WAY WE WILL COMBAT THESE DESTRUCTIVE FORCES, SHORT OF REVOLUTION, IS TO SEND A CLEAR AND UNMISTAKABLE MESSAGE TO THE CORRUPT INDIVIDUALS AND INSTITUTIONS THREATENING OUR FUTURE BY DELIVERING A DECISIVE VICTORY AT THE BALLOT BOX IN 2020.

TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOTS MUST UNITE – NOT TO MERELY SUPPORT A PARTICULAR POLITICAL PARTY – BUT TO DELIVER A MANDATE TO OUR REPRESENTATIVES, AND TO THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS ADVANCING DESTRUCTIVE IDEOLOGIES, THAT THEIR FIRST OBLIGATION IS TO THE CAUSES OF FREEDOM AND LIBERTY UPON WHICH THIS NATION WAS FOUNDED. WHILE THIS MANDATE WILL TEND TO ADVANCE THE CAUSES OF REPUBLICAN, INDEPENDENT AND LIBERTARIAN CANDIDATES, A TRUE SHOW OF FORCE BY A DECISIVE MAJORITY OF VOICES WILL SERVE TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE MORE EFFECTIVELY ONCE THEY WITNESS THE INFLUENCE THEY WIELD.

THAT IS NOT DONE BY MERELY WINNING A MAJORITY IN CONGRESS AND STATEHOUSES, OR EVEN ELECTING A PARTICULAR PRESIDENT – BUT BY DOING SO BY A VERY SIGNIFICANT MARGIN.

I AM CALLING ON ALL PATRIOTS TO ADOPT A CAUSE THAT WILL REQUIRE COMMITMENT, HARD WORK AND COURAGE. THAT MEANS NOT ONLY EXERCISING YOUR OWN RIGHT TO VOTE, SUPPORTING PARTICULAR CANDIDATES OR CONTRIBUTING YOUR TIME AND RESOURCES BUT BECOMING AN ACTIVIST TO CONVINCE OTHERS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF THEIR ENGAGEMENT, EDUCATING AS MANY AS POSSIBLE AS TO THE REAL THREATS FACING OUR NATION, AND SPEAKING OUT LOUDLY FOR THE CAUSE OF LIBERTY.

WE CANNOT BE SATISFIED WITH ANYTHING SHORT OF ACCOMPLISHING THE FOLLOWING GOALS:

• · Winning a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives with at least 60% of non-Democrats.
• · Filling at least 60 seats in the U.S. Senate with non-Democrats.
• · Electing a non-Democrat President with at least a 60% majority of the Popular Vote.
• · Winning the Presidency with a minimum of 60% of the Electoral College Delegates.
• · Increasing the number of non-democrat controlled statehouses by at least 60%.
• · Increasing the number of non-democrat governors by at least 60%.
• · Reducing the number of democrat mayors in major U.S. cities by at least 60%.

IF THIS APPEARS TO BE PRIMARILY A WAR ON DEMOCRAT POLITICIANS, THAT IS TRUE IN PART. I STATED IN 2011, THAT THE REPUBLICANS FAILED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE DEMOCRATS WERE NOT MERELY “BICKERING” WITH THEM - AS ONE REPUBLICAN SENATOR CHARACTERIZED IT – BUT WERE “AT WAR” WITH THEM AND THEY SIMPLY DIDN’T RECOGNIZE IT. WELL NOW IT IS QUITE OBVIOUS.

LIKEWISE, WHILE IT APPEARS THIS MAY ONLY BE AN ATTEMPT AT PROMOTING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, THAT IS ONLY TRUE IN PART. THE REPUBLICANS, WHILE DISAPPOINTING MANY OF US WITH THEIR FECKLESSNESS AND DISUNITY, HAVE AT LEAST BEEN SOMEWHAT OF A BULWARK AGAINST THE ADVANCEMENT OF SOME OF THE PROGRESSIVE ACTIVISM THAT WE HAVE SUFFERED THROUGH.

IN ANY EVENT, CAN ANYONE TRULY SAY THAT THE DEMOCRAT PARTY, OR ANY OF ITS POLITICIANS, WOULD EVER ESCAPE THE GRIP THAT THE RADICAL LEFT HAS PLACED ON IT. AT LEAST THE REPUBLICAN PARTY OFFERS US SOME HOPE OF RECOVERY FROM THE TRAP OF LIBERAL AND PROGRESSIVE POLICIES THAT HAVE BEEN PROVEN FAILURES.
